Our Techniques

Evidence-informed chiropractic, matched to you.

Michael is qualified across several chiropractic techniques — from traditional manual adjustments to gentle, instrument-based approaches. The right technique depends on your history, your body and your comfort.

  • Diversified Adjusting Technique

    Traditional hands-on adjustment.

Manual, hands-on adjustment to restore normal bio-mechanical function and correction to the spine. One of the most widely used chiropractic techniques worldwide — direct, effective and familiar to long-term chiropractic patients.

    • Precise manual adjustments
    • Restores joint motion
    • Widely used worldwide
  • Activator Method (AMCT)

    Instrument-assisted, low-force.

Uses the latest advances in orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations to seek joint dysfunction in the spinal column and extremities. A small hand-held instrument delivers a gentle, consistent impulse to the treatment area.

    • Low-force instrument adjustment
    • Detailed orthopaedic assessment
    • Suitable for sensitive patients
  • Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)

    Structural balance and stability.

Focuses on structural stability and integrity as well as neurological function. Uses padded blocks placed under the pelvic area, allowing the body to realign and balance itself while gravity and breath do much of the work.

    • Pelvic-block assisted correction
    • Gentle, gravity-driven
    • Supports long-term alignment
  • Thompson Technique

    High-speed, minimal-force drop table.

Uses a segmented drop system which quickly lowers the section of the patient's body corresponding with the spinal region being adjusted. High speed with minimal force — comfortable for a wide range of body types.

    • Specialised drop-piece table
    • Minimal force required
    • Comfortable patient experience
  • Impulse Adjusting Instrument

    Precision instrument adjustment.

A precision instrument-assisted adjustment delivering gentle, precise chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities. Ideal where a highly targeted, low-force approach is required.

    • Precision instrument delivery
    • Gentle and controlled
    • Spine and extremity joints
